Lifetime Warranty

We custom make each shade right here in our Vermont Factory to your exact specifications.  All our blinds are covered by a limited Lifetime Warranty. Check out the details of the Symphony warranty.  It covers defects in materials or workmanship for as long as you own the product provided it is measured and installed correctly.

Each shade is manufactured to provide a lifetime of low maintenance service to you. If you need warranty service please e-mail us or call us TOLL FREE at 1-877-966-3678 and we will arrange for a repair or replacement as soon as possible.

Warranty Claim Shipping

Although the Symphony Limited Life Warranty by Comfortex excludes shipping and installation costs, we use such high quality components and produce such exceptionally consistent quality that we are able to pay for ground shipping both directions on all warranty work during the first year you own your blinds. If you want quicker turnaround, just specify "next day" or "second day" air on your e-mail, and authorize us to charge the cost to your credit card.  Your repair will be handled the same day we receive it.

Service

Although we are committed to the lowest prices anywhere, we have built our company on service. Please e-mail your questions to us (service@SkylightBlinds.com). Free Samples

We cheerfully offer free samples so you can appreciate the beauty of our colors as well as the weight of our fabrics. Our fabric is the highest available quality which means your blinds will look better, last longer and provide greater energy efficiency.  Just fill out the samples form and we will ship them to you no charge.
 

Privacy Policy

Any information you give us, stays with us.  We respect your privacy and do not rent or trade your name, address, e-mail address, phone number with anyone. You can rest assured that all information you provide is kept strictly confidential.

Shipping

Most orders are shipped via UPS. (We only ship to locations in the United States.  Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via Air.) Shipping prices are determined by method of shipping (ground, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air) and the number of blinds.  Packaging and handling costs are included.  Shipping becomes significantly less per shade, the more blinds ordered. E-mail us regarding shipments outside the USA.

Each shade is custom-made to your measurements and color choices. We ship 14-21 days from your order date.   When your order is shipped we will send you an email with the UPS tracking information.

Larger Daylight blinds - Manual or Motorized - may be shipped via truck freight. We cannot determine the exact cost for freight before shipment, but will notify you if your order will shipped via freight. Please call for estimates. More info on our shipping policies.

Best Price Guarantee

If you find a lower price including freight, e-mail or fax us the details where you found the lower price. We will verify the lower price and pay you the difference.  For example, if  you paid SkylightBlinds.com $100 for a shade, and found another retailer selling the same shade for $95, we will pay you $5 plus 10% ($.50) for a total of $5.50.

Returns and Exchanges

We custom manufacture each shade to your exact measurements. Since each shade is individually crafted, they are not returnable for any reason except warranty repair. Because of the quick turn around time we offer, there are no cancellations. To avoid problems please follow the ordering instructions and measure carefully.

Sales Tax

We collect 6% sales tax for orders shipped to Vermont. We collect an additional 1% sales tax for orders shipped to Burlington, South Burlington, Dover, Williston, Manchester and Stratton, Vermont. This additional tax will not show on your order. We will add it to your credit card charge. If you have a question about this please call.
We do not charge sales tax for any other states

Payment

All our blinds are custom made, so we must have payment before we make a shade. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover.  All checks are accepted, but must be cleared by your bank before we will fabricate your blinds. If you want to pay by check, we suggest that you use a cashier's check or a certified check. Our shopping cart server is secure and we never send your credit card number via e-mail.
