Balcony Skylight blinds and Daylight Skylight blinds

We offer two types of manually operated skylight blinds: Balcony Skylight blinds and Daylight Skylight blinds. Both use the insulating honeycomb fabric, and glide in side tracks to stay in place. Balcony blinds described below work for most sizes. Choose between light filtering, room darkening and black out shades.

Mounted on a unique retainer track system, Balcony blinds can be used vertically, horizontally and on angles (like skylights) for maximum versatility. Balcony blinds featuring Symphony Light Filtering or Room Darkening cellular shade fabrics, are energy efficient.  Balcony's side retainer tracks provides increased support and smooth operation and form a barrier around the edge of the blinds, greatly enhancing insulation values. Balcony blinds are child safe with no exposed cords. Retainer side tracks provide smooth control, crisp appearance and increased insulation.  Integrated mounting system perfect for skylights and other demanding applications.

Symphony Honeycomb blinds are an original composition designed to maintain crisp, uniform distribution of pleats while allowing light and color to be diffused evenly. Symphony Skylight blinds are inherently dust repellent and made of non-woven polyester that resists fading and discoloration in sunlight.

Extension poles are specially designed to fit into the handle of Balcony blinds for easy operation at any angle.

Please note:

• Balcony blinds are for inside mount applications only.
• Minimum required for installation: 1 1/4 inches
• Minimum flush Inside mounting surface: 2 1/4 inches
• The widest width of the window cannot exceed the narrowest width of the window by more than 3/8 inch.

Special Applications:

Most Balcony blinds are used for skylight applications where the angle of the wall if between 15 degrees and 75 degrees. Balcony blinds may also be used on ceilings (0 to 15 degrees)  and on regular vertical windows (75 to 90 degrees). There are size limitations for these special applications. See below:
